River Vyrnwy

General Information

A new stretch of the Vyrnwy for 2015 containing barbel, chub and trout. The overhanging trees on the far bank will provide plenty of cover for chub in the summer months and there are fast flowing sections as well as deeper pools to be found on this superb stretch of river. The lower half is good for trotting in many places whilst the many alder and willow lined pegs provide good stalking locations, pikers will also find some decent specimens. In addition, salmon are reported to have frequented this ¾ mile long stretch.
