Peover Eye & Golden Pond
Brief description of fishery:
This stretch of Peover Eye at Bate Mill includes a small pond known as Golden Pond and is located in an area of such beauty it needs to be seen to be believed. The river abounds with trout, both resident browns and escapee rainbows along with roach, perch, grayling, and the occasional chub. Early summertime hatches can be prolific making this the ideal location for the light line trout bum!
