River Severn
General Information
This stretch of the upper Welsh Severn is regarded as a fine all-round fishery and for the coarse angler dace, chub and the occasional barbel can provide excellent sport. It is, however, as a game fishery that this stretch really comes into its own. Gliding runs and deep holding pools abound with quality grayling and wild brown trout. Seasonal salmon are not uncommon.
